Occultation of Saturn by the Moon

This evening we had a rare celestial even when the Moon passed in front of Saturn for just over an hour. To complicate matters this took place in the early eveing with the Sun still very much in the sky. The eclipse of Saturn took place at 1958 BST and I missed it due to cloud cover. The clouds did however clear some five mins later. Typical!

The sky remained clear until Saturn's return from behind the Moon at 2106 BST. I set up my 'scope and started filming with the webcam at 2105.

thats cool how u can see that from here it being so far away but it looks like u can just reach out n grab it
