After the Storm

I was very pleased that the BBC used one of my photos from yesterday's blog entries in their News coverage of yesterday's weather. It's here....


After a generally good day the weather turned again late afternoon with thunderstorms and torrential rain - no hail seen by me today though friends over in Maghera saw a funnel which was pretty close to being a full blown tornado!

I had a good sky towards sunset and caught this Sundog...



And this nice conjunction of the 3 day Moon and Venus...
