North America Nebula
This object, NGC 7000, has to be one of my favourite objects in the sky which is a little strange because I've never actually been able to see it, even through a telescope! I have only ever seen it on photographs that I've taken. It's an easy one to find as it's just 3 degres to the East of Deneb, the brightest star in Cygnus and the North-Eastern corner of the Summer Triangle. The reason for its nickname is obvious.
