New 'scope

I have joined the Dobsonian Telescope Owners Club. The new 'scope consists of a 10" Newtonian reflector mounted on a simple alt/az mount which keeps the heavy mirror down low while the eyepiece is a few feet off the ground. The whole thing can be easily carried around in two parts and assembly is the work of a minute or so.

However, to add to the versatility of the setup I also purchased the mechanical parts to allow the 'scope to be mounted on my Equatorial Mount so that it can be used for photography, so I now have one setup for quick viewing and another, which takes rather longer to set up, for long exposure photography!
