Moon in Colour

I have recently taken a few shots of the Moon which is now so high and bright that any deep sky observing is limited to the very brightest objects. I have found that by amplifying the colour components of the picture it is possible to demonstrate that the Moon is not in fact uniformly grey, but displays pastel shades of colour. These are real and represent different minerals - the blues are Titanium and the rusty reds are Iron....
