These are the slides from a talk I
gave to the Irish Astronomical Association on 7th January 2009.
Entitled "Astrophotography - The Fundamentals", this was the IAA's inaugural lecture of the International Year of Astronomy 2009
and was very well received. The audience numbering approximately 70 were most appreciative and I have already been asked to
provide a repeat performance to another club!
